AN ART OF TAKING NOTES:

I must start with apologizing for the book. Sin, Sex and Self-Control by Norman Vincent Peale. I’m Working on it. Tomorrow pretty sure, no doubt at all.

Notes are considered as ART. Because a line you had written. It will make you perform not only in exams also in the meeting you need to take notes known as MINUTES. A very short note about the meeting. It will help you there. Even you can carry for life long. You’ll feel quite glad about it.

Notes talk about, how far you had taken the notes from your professors. And how far gonna understand from it.

If someone is teaching you. it’s far better if you note it down. You have to take the notes very faster, most probably it’s difficult to use different stick pens. So in the same pen, you can draw a line on the right side of your page, it’s for your new vocabulary also certain ‘terms’ you might don’t know. So, if you note that certain terms. It will help you whenever you have seen the notes and you can google it.

By the left side. I have to say that. You have to write as much as faster. Because you should not miss any points. At least sometimes the relevant headings you must note it down. If you felt that, you are writing very badly. I’ll handle it either one of the ways. Sometimes both.

1. Start writing CAPS (CAPITAL LETTERS), not sounds silly, but if you start writing in CAPS in an urgent situation. You can write a little better. It will help you to cover mostly 100%. Also, you can understand what you had written. Most people had taken notes. It’s impossible to understand what they had written? I’m saying about the words, it’s impossible to understand.

2. But I really wonder few people are writing very fast and legible. That seems awesome, even I too notice in my schools and college. I asked them, how it’s possible? It’s PRACTICE. They replied.

Just what we need to do is, every day we have to write 30 minutes fast and legible.

The Mantra is: Keep on writing, until you get good progress. Even it takes a year, please don’t worry. Work on it.

It will pay back the best results.

I hope these lines will impact in your notes.
With respect.

TO BE CONTINUED WITH THE BOOK THINK STRAIGHT:

This is the last part of this book, but why am I writing elaborately form this book, I’m categorically writing, this book speaks more sound with regards to thinking.

1. An author speaks about money rules:
           1. Don’t buy shit you don’t need.
           2. Save at least 10% of your income every month.
           3. Stay out of debt.
           4. Invest in your money in things that you have return.
           5. Don’t be stingy (It’s just money)

2. REMEMBER: Money is the replaceable source. When you are out of it, you can earn it back. You can’t say the same for the time. Don’t spend too much time thinking about money.

3. What are the Pros and cons of:
          1. Quitting my job?
          2. Breaking up with my boyfriend?
          3. Taking this job offer?
          4. Buying a new car?
          5. Starting a business?

4. When you stop doing things the way they’re done, you’ll start doing things how you get it done.

5. I learned three things:
         1. Always double check.
         2. Small things can become big things.
         3. And don’t play favors.

6. This book took me 15 months to write. I spent countless hours researching the topic. I also spent hours on writing, editing, cutting, writing, more and editing it again. And then again. I also changed the title three times, and the subtitle even more than that.

7. You are not here to write one book and call it’s quits. Or to design one product and retire. If you want to grow-financially, spiritually, mentally- you must revisit the details all the time.

8.  Action > Thinking.

9. But the most important lesson I’ve learned was that you don’t regret what you did in life, you regret what you didn’t do.

10. Effective thoughts? Effective actions.
           1. Making your life better.
           2. Growing your career and business.
           3. Visualizing your future.
           4. Thinking new ideas.
           5. Solving problems.
           6. Coming up with fun things to do with partner, family or friends.

11. Just sit down, be one with your thoughts, observe them, and then, ignore them. That’s all there is meditation.

With respect.

TO BE CONTINUED WITH THE BOOK THINK STRAIGHT:

  1. I HAD DISCOVERED TWO MAIN TYPES OF USEFUL THOUGHTS:
    1. Thinking about how you can solve the problems.
    2. Understanding knowledge.
  2. A cognitive bias is a systematic thinking error that impacts, judgements, and therefore, our decisions.
  3. Maybe conclusions also a cognitive bias. Who knows?

What it comes down to do this: Avoid making based on the beliefs, obvious logic, and even science.

    ASSUMPTIONS VS FACTS:

    ASSUMPTIONS:                                  FACTS:

    1. opinions.                                   1. Research
    2. clichés.                                      2. Statistics.
    3. Imagination                             3. Experiments.
    4. Beliefs.                                      4. Tested.
    5. Guesses.
  4. Few questions are:
    1. Does your product solve the problem? Or do you assume it does?
    2. Are you able to raise money for your start-up? Or do you assume you will?
    3. Will you get raise? Or do you assume your boss will give it to you?
    4. Is the sale is done a deal? Or do you assume your client will sign?
    5. Do people like your art? Or do you assume they do?
  5.  Save your energy for more useful things.
  6. NO MORE QUICK DECISIONS.
    1. Shall we book a business trip to Thailand?
    2. Are you interested in speaking gig at company X?
    3. Should we renovate the kitchen?
    4. Do you think we should fire John Doe?
    5. How about hiring another sales executive?
  7. BE YOURSELF (NOT WHAT YOU SHOULD BE)
  8. Conquer yourself rather than the world. – Rene Descartes.
  9. I WOULD LIKE TO ASK FEW QUESTIONS:

    1. What are you good at?
    2. What are you bad at?
    3. How do you learn new things?
    4. What are you passionate about?
    5. What do you dislike?
  10. I journal and make sure to read my notes once a week. That’s all I mean when I talk about reflecting. I do it for three reasons:
    1. It helps me to uncover my mistakes, so I can avoid them in future.
    2. It helps me value my progress when I read my past achievements.
    3. To get my thoughts in order so I can second guess myself. That helps me to make better decisions.

With respect.

BOOK OF THE WEEK:

I had completed the two books.

But I had said to you all, the next book I’m gonna deliver is,

SIN, SEX AND SELF CONTROL.

(HOW TO ACHIEVE SELF-KNOWLEDGE AND LIVE A JOYOUS, DISCIPLINED AND ABUNDANT LIFE)

BY- THE FAMOUS NEW BEST SELLER OF POWER OF POSITIVE THINKING-NORMAN VINCENT PEALE.

I’m segregating for certain points.

Right now,

THINK STRAIGHT. Change your thoughts, change your life.

Written and illustrated by- DARIUS FOROUX.

A very small book with deep thinking. It will change the way you think.

I would love to share those life-changing lovable lines that gonna impact in your life, by point by point.

IF YOU CAN CHANGE YOUR MIND, YOU CAN CHANGE THE WORLD – WILLIAM JAMES.

  1. You have the ability to decide what you think. And since the result of your life depends on your thoughts, I think its most important thing in your life. when we improve the way we think, nothing is impossible to achieve. That simple realization changes everything. Many great thinkers have written about the importance of thoughts. But William James’ godfather, Ralph Waldo Emerson, who also inspired James a great deal, put it most simply: “You become what you think about all day long.”
  2. We often make decisions based on gut feelings, emotions and without having the right information.
  3. If we want to THINK STRAIGHT at all times, we must stay grounded, look at facts, listen to other people perspectives, and only then draw practical conclusions.
  4. The most important idea is that we should question the source of our beliefs, not the belief itself. Because most of our beliefs are based on our or other people perception.
  5. Thoughts should serve as a useful purpose. If they don’t they are useless.
  6. REMEMBER: The quality of our thoughts determines the quality of our lives. And our decisions are a result of our thoughts.
  7. CONNECTING DOTS: Like Steve Jobs, “You can’t connect the dots by looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in the future.”
  8. If you wanna the dots to connect in the future, you have to make sure you form dots in your brain. The only way you form dots is by learning, doing, making mistakes, reflecting, or anything you can do to feed your brain with the input it needs it to give you the output you want.
  9. It’s better to be aware of your thoughts and decide what you will ignore, and what you will give importance to.
  10. Only think about things you can control. That automatically eliminates about 99% of your thoughts because theirs is very little you control in life.

    With respect.

INVEST IN YOURSELF, IT WILL PAY YOU RICH DIVIDEND:

Self-Knowledge is the most priority.

People often consult experts, I have a lot of money. Where to invest?

That’s really the awesome question?

But, we won’t be paying enough attention to ourselves. We aren’t learning at all. we are blindly being driven by the magic ads and some mesmerizing talk.

We should get rid off toxic peoples.

Self-knowledge is most mandatorily one. It will save you if you fall in the dip. Learn, gather day-to-day news. Pay enough attention to newspapers and magazines. Analyse the stuff.

The person you will be in five years will depend on the knowledge you feed today.

Learn and then Earn.
With respect.

HOW TO DO RESEARCH?

In order to do in a particular topic. You should be able to stay strong with concepts. And also you need to collect the facts. Apart from Google, you have to consult with a lot of experts. Just get an appointment with them. Ask your questions and clarifications. Give good open-talk. Say briefly.

What are you gonna do?

Collect all both good and bad data. It helps you to self-analyse which is right and wrong.

The secret to doing successful research is, you must read enormous books. That makes you think in the right and logic way.

In fact, you are researching on the product. You need to know how the market is just going and talk to the buyer.

The deeper research pays more successive results.

Please don’t collect the data. You have to keep adequate materials. It should not be overloaded.

With respect.

ARE YOU INSPIRED?

INSPIRATION IS THE KEY TO SUCCEED.

If you are felt inspired that day gonna be great. Motivation comes from inspiration.

Alright, right now I’m reading Steve Jobs biography by prominent author Walter Isaacson.

Usually, I read in the early morning. But I may miss a few days, whenever I read, I feel enormously energetic. I felt inspired, my attitude completely will change. The way I look, the I way I work and think that was totally superb.

Find inspiration, be inspired. unless nothing will motivate you.

With respect.

STAY IN PROGRESS:

ARE WE IN PROGRESS?

Successful people are in progress, not for perfection (THE WORD I’M USING PERFECTION IS YOU, ME, WE ARE OFTEN DRIVEN BY PERFECTION).

The secret success is progress. Things we need to do. We have to keep on doing it.

We must learn to cultivate the habit called, an art of progress. To reach the best level progress is the only way we have to hold.

Progress is the only Plan.

Progress is the only key.

Let’s drive for progress.

With Respect.

AN ART OF PUBLIC SPEAKING:

RULES TO BE A SPEAKER: No hesitation. No fear. No shyness. No perfection. Nothing.

At the very first step, you have to be voluntarily come out to speak. You need to hold the mic. There is nothing wrong, whether you are speaking right or wrong. But the matter is you need to have a sign of strong courage, a sign of strong willingness, a sign of strong motivation, a sign of strong desire.

People are so passionate to be a speaker, but they are worried about,

Am I speaking right or wrong?

Am I keeping the English good?

Did people pay attention to me?

No need to bother, never mind the people, what I mean is, you must stand before them to speak, if you are ready to speak, after a certain point of time. you will surely know,

What to speak?

What is the content?

How should I prepare?

These all the stuff comes, only if you make a step forward.

So, are you ready to make a step forward?

Let’s say YES.

Things will work.

With Respect.
