VALUABLE MANUAL: ESSENTIAL MANAGERS MANUAL. BY ROBERT HELLER AND TIM HINDLE.

essential_managers_manual_1489540962_4ec11b6fPASSING ON INFORMATION:

Managers spend much time of their time delivering and receiving messages in person. This can be the most critical – and satisfying – arena of communication. Honesty and feedback are both essential if you are to achieve clarity and progress.

POWER TIPS:

  • When giving positive feedback, state the reasons for your praise.
  • Let the staff know what efforts you are making to relay information.
  • If in doubt about whether or not you should pass on information, do so.
  • Waste no time on people who refuse to understand you.

BEING UNDERSTOOD:

Delivering a message that may be understood is all too easy. It may happen because you are not clear about what you want to say; or because your language is vague even though your objectives are clear; or because your body language very subtly contradicts your verbal message.

Use positive body language to emphasize your verbal message.

GIVING FEEDBACK:

  • Show an understanding of exactly what went wrong, and why.
  • Draw out ways in which poor performance or behaviour can improve.
  • Use questioning rather than assertions to let the staff member know what they think, and why.
  • Aim to express your negative opinions honestly, but in a positive manner.
  • Above all, take negative feedback away from the emotional zone by being objective, not personal.

HANDLING CONFLICT: Do not allow negative body language directed you to put you off. Sit up straight, make non-hostile eye contact, and give your message unambiguously.

With respect.

FINANCIAL FREEDOM:

It is all about debt-free. We need not be Millionaire or Billionaire. This is what I had learned. I have a wrong approach to make money or I thought that my income has to passive. I don’t wanna talk about, what if? If we have more money. That’s our own personal perspective. Here, for me to attain such financial freedom is absolutely needed. Because what I feel is having such adequate money more required.

When it comes to the money factor, we should not be too emotional or too addicted. We should have a fair amount of understanding of money spendings and savings. Start building a good lifestyle.

Money never buys happiness in life. But plays a predominant role in everyone’s life.

Notable steps. Speaker, author, and success expert Brian Tracy says,

7 STEPS TO ACHIEVE FINANCIAL FREEDOM:

  1. You have to begin to think positively about money.
  2. Rewrite and review your goals on the paper on every day and think about how you could accomplish them.
  3. Plan every day in advance.
  4. Concentrate single-mindedly, every hour of every day, on the most valuable use of time.
  5. Invest yourself in terms of your self-improvement and learning.
  6. Ask yourself these questions every after meeting and event of importance in your life.
  • What did I do right?
  • What would I do differently next time?
  1. Be generous to others.

HOW NOT TO BE FAKE?

We can be unique/mysterious/peculiar. Whatever it is! But we should not be fake or present like a duplicate. It does not matter, whether you are being on your way. The world often point out you. So, there is nothing wrong with,

Who are you?

What you do?

But, be original.

Fake never survives. Successful people, they have their own tendency. They have their own set of originality and true character. They are straight-forward. They never act, they handle their own way.

If you see my writings, moreover 100%, I never posted with the wrong approach, fake words, for the sake of writing something. I have a deliberate mindset to write the stuff. Even though, I conscious about the words that I’m using. Here, in my writings, I show my originality. I write the words that come from a heart, soul and brain. Because I had a few good words to deliver. My thinking was a bit good. That my originality. There are grammatical errors and vague sentences. But, I would love to write. I would love rectify. That’s it.

Will you show your originality?

Or

Will you act as a fake?

Ladies and gentleman, please decide.

I started paying attention to WEF. Eventually, I had noticed yesterday on LinkedIn. Although, I’m seriously following the WEF on Facebook too. 17 global goals for sustainable development.

HESITATION IS THE KEY TO FAILURE:

We are knowingly still hesitating. From the initiative to end there is hesitation. Hesitating to talk, to write, to make a decision. Everything.

If we hesitate for something, the losing streak begins. Because successful people knew, if am I hesitated, there is no possibility of learning, there is no possibility to rectify my mistakes. So, with hesitation, I’m gonna talk and act. Eventually, as soon as possible I will overcome.

Hesitation surrounded my life. Quite honestly and frankly, I don’t’ know what to do. Please correct me, if I’m wrong. If the habit neither good or bad. You cannot start a good habit easily nor leaving a bad habit easily. It takes time to start and stop. So, I could not able to leave the hesitation just like that. I just simply carried my hesitation and I started moving forward. The forwardness matters to me.

Precisely, I could say, writing a blog and creating a Facebook page. I never planned to do. But, I would love to write and I would love to deliver something valuable. I started it that’s it. As I often say, I don’t have writing skills. Unless I write I could not learn. Here, the key is I started with hesitation. Today, I’m writing this post “without hesitation”. I overcame. I started realizing that, ‘hesitation is the key to failure.

Ladies and gentleman. Never ever hesitate.

VALUABLE MANUAL: ESSENTIAL MANAGER’S MANUAL. BY ROBERT HELLER AND TIM HINDLE.

essential_managers_manual_1489540962_4ec11b6fSaturday comes, here it is. This week the topic is,

EXCHANGING INFORMATION:

Face-to-face, phone, or written communications can range from open warfare to perfect agreement. In every case, choose the right communication method to achieve your aim.

MAKING CONTACT:

POWER TIP:

  • Stand up to greet or say goodbye to people – it is rude to stay seated.

A satisfactory end to an encounter can never be guaranteed, but a good start is always possible. Your words and demeanour significantly affect the reactions of others, so use welcoming words to help start all proceedings on a positive side.

POINTS TO REMEMBER:

  1. Initial greetings should be as welcoming as possible.
  2. All attendees at a meeting need to be introduced to each other at the outset.
  3. Meetings are best ended courteously, even if they involved disagreements.
  4. Behavioural and cultural differences (like whether it is customary to shake hands) should be respected at all times when travelling.

GREETING PEOPLE:

Follow up with an impression of polite pleasure (“It’s good to meet you”). This implies friendly intent. Even if hostilities are possible, a civil verbal start is always wise.

USING BODILY CONTACT:

Avoid offering a limp handshake, which may give you an impression of weakness. Be aware of cultural rules that affect greetings between sexes. For example, it may be inappropriate for men and women to make any physical contact. Watch your posture, too: rise to your feet when receiving guests, and stand straight.

  • Face each other making eye contact.
  • Use a two-arm goodbye to show warmth than a handshake on its own.
  • Stand up when saying goodbye.

ENDING MEETINGS:

Saying a warm goodbye.

Saying goodbye is likely to be a warmer experience than saying hello, especially if the encounter has been productive. In some countries, people are more likely to use physical contact, such as holding one of their arms when shaking.

WHY FATIGUE HAPPENS?

Giving a motivating answer was ‘attitude’ matters. Along with attitude, there are several factors that drive fatigue.

A portion of healthy food must. Quality of intake matters. We should not eat gradually what is there in the (food)plate.

I personally suggest nutrition is required, energy drinks I don’t know much about it, and eating fruits like apple and banana are most effective to the human body.

Let’s come to sleep, my awkward topic. 6 hours is okay. Arnold Schwarzenegger says, you sleep 6 hours a day and work for 18 hours. I had seen his motivational video.

For me, the reaction of sleep over the 2 years. If I sleep for 8 or 9 hours. I’m feeling too dizzy. Another case, if I sleep for 4 and 5 hours, I don’t know how to describe it? But, affects me so badly. Maintain a standard and adequate sleep.

My final note comes to exercise, meditation and yoga are mandatory. Those three drivers will make your day productive. You can probably, follow my technique or you might consider and reconsider it. Exercise, 15 minutes of running/skipping. Meditation, close your eyes and do breathing technique/Pranayama for 15 minutes. Yoga, you can do any three asanas for 15 minutes according to your body, every asana contains 5 minutes.

I had one more opinion about yoga. Hire a yoga master is the most preferable one. I’m doing exercise and meditation feeling absolutely superb. Yoga yet to do.

A gentle reminder: Drink an enormous amount of water.

VALUABLE LESSON/MY OPINION: FROM A WRITER’S PERSPECTIVE:

Every writer should remember the reader. Ultimately, a writer might read his/her writings as a proud moment or correct mistakes. But, every reader who is reading his/her writings could get inspired/take it as reference. So, we (writer’s) must be careful.

To understand the reader, a writer should often think, we (writers) don’t know. Who are our readers?

Anybody maybe literate or illiterate or in the midst.

How can I make an impact on overall readers?

Factually or logically, every writer could not satisfy all the readers. This is a common statement. I personally don’t know, certain books one size fit all.

But, at certain level or moreover such level. A writer can think,

what is the possibility we can create?

How can I make the reader? A thought-provoking (reader).

What terminologies will impact the reader?

Sometimes, a writer has to give a critical statement/open statement. That’s required/seems okay. Everybody has an opinion. Even, I have a few opinions that make to write it.

What I personally think before I start writing?

I should watch out before reaches the reader.

Even though, if it happens, the next moment I have to be ready to apologize.

Unknowingly, if a reader pinpointed something from your writings. Be ready to apologize or say I’ll refer and get back to you.

I started learning this approach.
