COMMUNICATING CLEARLY:

Compiling Reports:

Reports are formal documents that will be read by others. They must always be accurate and well laid out, finishing with a definite conclusion. If you have been asked to write a report, make sure that it fulfils all the requirements of your original brief.

POWER TIPS:

·      Be ruthless: cut out all unnecessary words in your report.

·      Tailor reports to suit what you know about the recipients.

·      Seize the opportunities to present your report in person to an audience.

·      Avoid making any unsupported assertions or conclusions.

DO’S AND DON’T’S:

DO’S-

1.    Do make each report interesting.

2.    Do use verbatim quotes from interviews.

3.    Do emphasize your most important findings and facts.

4.    Do use numbered paragraph to make cross-referencing easier and to keep points separate.

5.    Do use headings for changes of subject and subheadings for related themes.

DONT’S-

1.    Don’t waffle or write unbroken, long paragraphs.

2.    Don’t use the first person singular (“I”) or allow your personal prejudices to show.

3.    Don’t indulge in digressions or go off at tangents.

4.    Don’t draw conclusions from insufficient evidence.

5.    Don’t print your reports without thoroughly checking your sources.

PRESENTING USING AV AIDS:

Presenting your conclusions with excellent AV aids and speaking skills increases the impact of a report handed out at a meeting. Visual messages sell a report in an immediate way.

WRITING FIRST DRAFTS: 7 TIPS FROM SUCCESSFUL AUTHORS.

It’s been around more than two months. I was trying to share. Fine, today is the best day to share. Got it from Pinterest.

  1. Find your most comfortable method

E.g. Italo Calvino would write and correct by hand, and then type out subsequent drafts.

  1. Try creative approaches

Gunter Grass would ask for a blank book from his printer, to write a draft including drawings.

  1. Set realistic expectations

Calculate how long it takes you to draft a full chapter, then estimate the total income.

  1. Pick a focus for your draft

For example Colleen McCullough would use her middle drafts to tweak characterization.

  1. Allow your first draft to be messy

Author Jennifer Egan says ‘blind, unconscious, messy efforts’ produce her best material.

  1. Get feedback on drafts when ready

Stephen King refers to a first draft as the ‘closed door’ draft. Share only when ready.

  1. Get it written, not right

There is plenty of time to tweak for the mot juste during revision and editing. Get it done.

I NEVER MISUSED MY MOTIVATION:

The day started writing something valuable and giving inspirational messages to my readers. I was too careful; my words should not end in persuasion. Moreover, the truth I need to convey to the readers. I need to convey the realities to the readers. That’s why I started writing such contents starts with reality.

So far, what I had understood about my motivation. Giving the right message to the readers. It has to be something valuable to them. They should not forget. My message has to make an impact. Even more, with the right illustration.

I had seen that giving motivation is not business or manipulation. It’s a service, I say with no doubt. That’s it.

I couldn’t believe, how am I doing it. But, my thought-flow was the passion to convey things. Sometimes, I should that, I write with a lot emotions. The next step, I should stop there, and I must start saying the reality.

What it takes to attain the goals?

Quite happily, I’m conveying through as words. There might be/there are illogical contents. I apologize, again I was too careful.

Along with my inspirational thoughts and messages, I would love to write something more. There are still a few more are there in my writings related to ‘academics.’ Quite frankly and honestly, I’m preparing a lot. I started doing bit more research than usual. Maybe in a month, I would like to give a pleasant surprise to my readers It not something notorious. The same word, “valuable”.

100 DAYS STREAK AGAIN:

It’s a tiny milestone for me again. Last time, I was too happy. But I missed out badly. But this time, 0 to 100, it’s challenging. I still keep writing, even if my words and contents are terrible.

Why am I saying terrible?

I still need to adjust a lot with my writing skill. I started knowing that, my English and my body paragraph needs to be adjusted a lot more. As I often say and believe. I have to maintain my writing rhythm. I would like to find out the mistakes and faults in my writing. I have to realize it. Even though I was too careful when I am writing, there are still mistakes. Precisely, sentence formation.

I should be a bit happy because I’m still writing. I must worry because my grammar and body paragraph must improve.

Still, there is hope!

Before I start writing, I should develop a habit of thinking more and writing a rough draft. Just now, I feel, the problem is, I’m directly jumping into the fair draft. That would be a major problem.

Exactly two days before, I got a pic @WrtrStat from Twitter. And I liked and retweeted it too. Again, I posted on my Instagram. I feel extremely happy to post such kind of pics.

“First drafts are for learning what your novel or story is about.”- BERNARD MALAMUD.

My understanding after reading this line, after the first draft, there are still enormous changes has to be done. Better, I have to follow this.

What is the next should I have to take for better writing?

I must ask this question every time. Before writing.

Simultaneously, reading and writing must happen.

So, let’s follow.

WHY ENTREPRENEURIAL IS RISKY?

Please pay close attention, the word “RISK” applies to every profession. Writing is also risky. Risks don’t mean, it’s impossible.

Entrepreneurs visualize it’s risky but possible. Outsiders will decide, it’s impossible.

For entrepreneurs, risks are their favourite word. They took the risk as the challenge. They dealt with all sorts of risks, even more, they would like to win. Of course, they fall, they ready to bounce back. Entrepreneurs have such kind of mentality to face the risk, even if things aren’t working right!

Being an entrepreneur, things never get settled. On the one side, you need to show your goods/services to your ultimate customers. On the other side, you will face tough competition every day.

Few entrepreneurs have a monopoly in the market. Sometimes, monopoly might be at risk in the market. Even a few entrepreneurs, they have a Blue Ocean Strategy. I strongly suggest readers those who haven’t read. Please pick it as soon as.

The most extreme risk is consumers taste and preferences are dynamic. As an entrepreneur, he/she must have an eagle view of their customers.

What kind of innovative stuff they are looking for?

An entrepreneur has to keep the pace. The reality of an entrepreneur has to know, the risks are often will get generated.

Few facts, that I often realized/noticed is,

  • Technology is the key for most of the entrepreneurs. Precisely, for the tech entrepreneurs. They should be ready to use Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Business Analytics, Data Analytics and Big Data. They should know the risk before using it. It should be balanced.

Finally, Start-up entrepreneurs have to worry and face the risks in economic slowdown. I did bit research in this particular statement. I had mentioned the source down below. Please visit it.

PROVE YOURSELF, NOT FOR OTHERS:

We are making and doing things for others to see. Will a particular activity satisfy us?

Big question mark.

This is the time that we need to know need to prove for our self?

You have to feel yourself, that I had done a great job today. Feeling privileged. The kind of inner happiness should arise. You must know what satisfies me?

Living for others and showing your results for others never gonna long last. If you are started proving someone. Maybe those people might hate someday. If you feel things are good and thinking about what is required that fine. You feel happy and you will not get disappointed rather than saying to others. Better you can have a self-conversation/self-talk. You can sit quietly/you can close your eyes. Start thinking about what you want.

Am I doing for myself?

Or just am I doing for others/publicity.

Self-appreciation must on oneself. Sometimes, you have to stand in front of the mirror and you need to scold yourself. I always do self-evaluation. What are the steps I took and where am I standing?

The next step you can seek your mentors but, you need to know about yourself right!

The reason I’m writing this content is, nowadays I feel, I’m competing with myself. I took challenges, it’s my own initiatives, nobody gonna ask me. I have to beat myself. I had decided a certain path not for proving others. It matters to me. If I win, I’m gonna celebrate, if I lose, I’m gonna learn. so, I have to try harder and I need to know, where am I?

Not for others.
